Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning god created the heaven and the earth." |
All humans are born sinners and separated from their creator. (Rom. 5:12; Rom. 3:10; and Rom. 3:23) Because of this sin, we deserve an eternity in hell (Rom. 6:23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God came to this earth, lived a sinless life and shed his blood on Calvary as a payment for the sins of the world (1st John 2:12). This was motivated by God's love for us. (Rom. 5:8; Jn. 3:16) Jesus did not stay dead, but rose again on the third day (1st John 15: 1-3).
By faith in Jesus Christ, God gives to anyone who will ask for the gift of eternal life ( Rom 6:23; Rom. 10: 9,10,13). This gift of eternal life is not by anything that we do, but rather is a gift of God's Grace (Eph. 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Gal. 2:16). |
